I have the best job in the entire world. I really do. How did I get this lucky? I’ve been given a (literal) platform to empower people on a daily basis and it truly fulfills my soul. Years ago, if you were to ask me if I thought I would ever be a SoulCycle instructor, I would have told you no. I didn’t think I deserved it. I didn’t think I was good enough. I talked myself out of a dream and continued down a road that was essentially trying to make a square peg fit into a round hole.

I’m a big proponent of change. We change. We evolve. What was once good enough for us, isn’t always the right fit anymore. It isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s just change. I realized I was exerting so much energy to try to force inorganic things to work, I was exhausting myself.

That changed when I auditioned for SoulCycle in Spring 2019, finding myself in a very transitional phase of life. I moved to New York City for 5 weeks and was trained with Group 33 by a top-notch team of unparalleled knowledge and skills.

Teaching at Soul in Houston has been life-changing for me and I am so thankful for each person I get to meet every class. I love to play rap, trap and underground grimy EDM bass music – but who doesn’t love Taylor Swift?! Catch one of my Rave Rides or SoulSurvivors a “special” experience. See you on the bike!
